What is TOGETU?
Nobody knows what TOGETU is or where TOGETU is from. The only thing that is known is his hunger for scroll time.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The app is free, there are no ads, your data is not sold to anyone and the challenges are built to cost pocket money at most. Everything you can unlock in the app is earned by feeding TOGETU: no purchases, just meets.
Who can join, and where?
Anyone 18 or older. TOGETU is available in Zlín, and more cities are coming.
Is TOGETU a dating app?
No. TOGETU puts you in a crew from your town, three people of the same gender or four of mixed gender, and gives you things to do together. TOGETU is about changing a habit: the time you would otherwise scroll away, you spend with people.
Why is my TOGETU always sleepy?
TOGETU sleeps through the day and wakes up in the evening, at the same time for your whole community. The point is not time spent in the app but time spent with people, in the real world.
Why is my TOGETU always hungry?
Because he lives on your scroll time, and he gets none of it while you are scrolling. He gets fed when you meet your crew.
Why was I removed from my crew?
A crew runs on showing up. Miss a meet and you are out of the crew automatically. If the whole crew does not meet within its time limit, the crew is dissolved and everyone is out.
Who made the app?
TOGETU is an indie solo project.
It was born out of my frustration with technology designed to be addictive, preying on our attention and leaving anxiety, anger and broken communities in return.
